Qi EnergyFlow™ Poised to Be The Next Yoga

May 23, 2017 Victoria, B.C. – Renshi Ken Marchtaler is pleased to announce his next generation wellness program specifically targeting today’s health challenges.  Called Qi EnergyFLow™ (QEF), it is based on the ancient practices of Qigong, Taiji (Tai Chi) and Meditation.

“Qigong, a Chinese health practice based on gentle movements, meditation and breathing, has wide-ranging benefits, including improving balance, lowering blood pressure and even easing depression.” Wall Street Journal

Victoria’s Ken Marchtaler is a global authority on the health benefits of martial arts training (and a former world champion in Black Belt Open Hand Forms and Bladed Weapons).   Qi EnergyFLow™ is based on Marchtaler’s own experiences and his studies with renowned qigong expert and scientist Dr. Jwing-Ming Yang.  It incorporates techniques that have been known to improve health, longevity and overall wellness for more than 5000 years.

Over the next 6 months Ken and his Warrior Martial Arts studio will introduce a number of Qi EnergyFlow™ classes beginning with Qi60™ Breathe + Move, a 60-minute QEF class designed to improve overall strength, balance, flexibility, bone density, cognitive functions & energy circulation. Qi60™ will also help relieve the effects of everyday stress, anxiety, high blood pressure & depression.

“I’ve learned so much over the past 27 years, but most importantly I have come to realize that our fundamental health in western culture is out of control”, says Ken Marchtaler. “Qi EnergyFLow™ will help people balance their mental, physical and spiritual needs, and improve on a number of today’s health challenges as well.   The percentage of people suffering from stress, depression, anxiety, and weight issues is skyrocketing.  After serving the global sport community on a number of levels, I am thrilled to be in a position to offer a solution for these everyday health challenges, to my own community”

Marchtaler has teamed up with Creative Director and branding expert Darren Warner.  Warner, a former Creative Group Head for Tim Horton’s has been instrumental in coaching Marchtaler along his current journey.  “Darren has provided a lot of ideas, support, and encouragement for the Qi EnergyFlow™ project.   I have a lot to be thankful of here.” added Marchtaler.

Warrior Martial Arts plans a Qi60™ Breathe + Move pre-launch party Saturday, May 27 from 9:15am to 10:15am.   Ken Marchtaler will lead a FREE introduction class and he and Darren Warner will be on hand to answer any questions.  It is open to anyone who registers online at www.warriormartialarts.ca/events .  Class space is limited so early registration is recommended.
