Programs

People are drawn to martial arts training for a number of reasons.  Many seek to add discipline and self control to their lives.  Some are concerned about safety and self-defense.  And still others are drawn to the physical fitness and weight-loss aspects of training.

Whether you are interested in our programs for mental, physical or overall well being, Warrior Martial Arts offers a number of programs that will fit you or your child's developmental needs and your busy schedule as well.

Little Warriors®

Ages 3 to 5 - Our Little Warriors® Program is an age specific curriculum that is professionally designed to teach children important life skills in a fun, exciting and enriching manner. It is one of the fastest growing programs for children in North America. Little Warriors training is not only punches and kicks. We also reinforce what you are teaching your child at home!

Kid's Karate

Ages 6 to 8 - Our Kid's Karate program combines traditional martial arts training with high level character development and state of the art teaching methods. Not only do our children learn self-defense, they also develop very positive feelings about themselves and others.

Youth Karate

Ages 9 to 12 - Our Youth Karate program combines traditional martial arts training with high level character development and state of the art teaching methods. Our Youth Karate focuses on the social, emotional and physical needs of this age group.

Teen Karate

Ages 13 to 17 - Our Youth Karate program combines traditional martial arts training with high level character development and state of the art teaching methods. Our Youth Karate focuses on the social, emotional and physical needs of this age group.

Adult Karate

Ages 18 & up - At Warrior Martial Arts we teach more than self-defense. With martial arts training you can expect to experience increased focus, mental concentration and energy, ability to handle stress, strength, balance, flexibility, coordination, patience and self-confidence.

Third Age Karate

Ages 45 & up - The Warrior Martial Arts Third Age Karate program will help people 45 and over develop better focus, balance, flexibility and strength. Through this the spirit grows and students become more confident with a sense of continual accomplishment.

Okinawa KobudoOkinawa Kobudo

Our Kobudo Program is a separate art from Karate, and teaches traditional Okinawa weaponry including the Bo, Nunchaku, Sai, Tonfa, Kama, Tekko and Eaku or Kai. We are one of the few martial arts schools in the Pacific Northwest that offers an accredited Black Belt curriculum in traditional Okinawa weaponry. Kobudo adds excitement to martial arts training.

Tournament Team

Whether you win or lose, nothing compares to the tournament experience. The Warrior Martial Arts Tournament Team is for serious students who desire to test the limits of their training and skill, by competing with other martial arts students on a local, regional, national and international level. Competitions include karate katas, weapons katas, and sparring. Divisions are set up by age and level of skill. Participants have the opportunity to compete for tournament placement and awards, or to just have fun.

XMA Performance Training

XMA (Xtreme Martial Arts) Performance Training is a fusion of martial arts, gymnastics, acrobatics, dance and performance. Its awesome high flying moves, crazy Kung-Fu action and elite level training at its finest! Designed to enhance your technical, presentation and performance skills in a positive and challenging manner, XMA Performance Training will help you increase Speed, Power, Intensity, Stamina and Self-Confidence! Are you ready?

30 Minute Warrior®

The 30 MINUTE WARRIOR™  is a half hour mixed martial arts fitness circuit for Women & Men.  Created by Internationally Recognized Martial Arts Instructor and National Team Coach Ken Marchtaler, the 30 MINUTE WARRIOR™ is designed to get you in and out of our studio with a full body workout.  The circuit is comprised of 15 stations beginning with a warm-up, rotating between upper body, lower body & core muscles groups and finishing off with a cooldown stretch.  You will be amazed at how much you will accomplish in just 30 minutes!
