“My hopes for the Qi energy class were high .... and were still exceeded.   What happened was a multi layered experience which included an awakening of my sense of my internal body, my organs and cells excitement and the role of my breath.  Renshi’s knowledge of the purpose of each movement along with his sharing of his own felt experience has opened my senses, especially my psychic ones.  Come prepared to learn about your body!”  Roe Campbell, Government Project Manager

“As a long time yoga practitioner and yoga teacher, I went to Ken's Qi60 class to learn about "Chinese yoga, " or Qigong. Specific Qi60 exercises for each season massage, awaken and bring renewed energy to certain organs needing more attention in one season or another.  Qi60 exercises also awaken the meridians, delve deeply into organ tissue, balance energy and quiet the mind. I especially like how early in the morning the class is, allowing me to proactively balance my body and mind before working long hours in front line social work, with the Victoria Cool Aid Society.  Starting the day with Qi60 fosters the equanimity and resilience needed to face daily stresses with grace. Thanks to enriching my yoga practice by doing Qigong exercises first, I no longer experience sciatica nerve pain after driving for long periods of time. I highly recommend this uniquely beneficial well-timed class created by Renshi, Ken Marchtaler.”  Sarah Jean Bradley, BA, BC Teach. Cert., CELTA, CMHW, RYT
